Offers and commercial disclosure

A reader should be able to understand when a link or placement has a commercial relationship behind it. That relationship is separate from a Casino's facts, an Offer's terms, community opinion and the platform's future score.

The agreed separation keeps affiliate deals, sponsorship and revenue out of OC Score and organic ranking. Detailed placement and disclosure policy still needs selection.

An offer and a commercial relationship are different

A Bonus Offer describes a market-scoped promotion and its conditions. A tracked link or referral code describes a way the platform may direct a reader to it. An "exclusive" channel does not define the benefit's calculation, and a paid placement does not establish a higher assessment.

For an illustrative example, the same supported promotion could be presented with an applicable commercial disclosure. That disclosure tells the reader about the relationship; it does not change the promotion's wagering or withdrawal conditions. Bonus Offers explains those terms.

Earlier commercial candidates

The July 2026 discovery separated acquisition-based payments, revenue sharing, wager sharing, referral or bonus codes and sponsored placements. It proposed visible disclosure for commercial elements and keeping Casinos without a deal in the organic directory. A neutral external link or a message that no tracked offer is available were candidate treatments for the latter case.

Those details are historical inputs for the current policy decision, not proof that any particular agreement, tracked link or payment model is active. The accepted principle remains that commerce does not determine trust or organic ranking. Exact disclosure wording, placement formats and link behavior need agreement before use.

What belongs to editorial work

Editors can author presentation and disclosure text. Commercial relationships and the permissions to operate them have their own business owner. A draft banner cannot establish a commercial deal, and an editor's content approval does not approve a Casino score.

An optional campaign can group Offers, programmes or events while keeping their terms attached to the original subjects. Casino events and campaigns explains that proposed grouping.

The first platform scope brief asks which commercial surfaces belong in the selected experience. The scoring brief and gamification brief preserve the separate assessment and reward decisions.
